Our shops in Scarborough list includes all the major high street names that you will find in Scarborough’ town centre. I have also included details of the small novelty shops you will find at the bottom end of town near the south bay beach.

I have included a list of shops that you will find at the Seamer Road Retail Park located on the outskirts of Scarborough a short 5-minute drive from the town centre.

Shops in Scarborough’ Brunswick Shopping Centre

The Brunswick Shopping Centre can be found right at the heart of Scarborough’ town centre located on Westborough not far from the train station. The Brunswick Shopping Centre postcode for your satnav is YO11 1UE, they have their own car park (I have listed the prices to park below). To park at the Brunswick Shopping Centre it will cost you £1.50 for 1 hour, £2.10 for 2 hours, £3.10 for 3 hours, £4.20 for 4 hours, £5.20 for 5 hours, £6.20 for 6 hours and £12 for any time over 6 hours. They have a charge of £5 for overnight parking.

To park in a Scarborough Council car park located close to the town centre it will cost you £1.50 for 1 hour, £2 for 2 hours, £4 for 6 hours and £5 for 24 hours. The car parks close to the town centre are North Street car park (YO11 1DE) and St. Thomas Street car park (YO11 1DY).

Shops in Scarborough’ Town Centre

The main shops at the top end of Scarborough’ town centre include Waterstones, Boots, Poundland (next to the Brunswick Shopping Centre), WHSmiths, HMV, Game, Wilkinsons, Burtons, Marks & Spencers plus some well known phone shops.

As you cross over the road at Barclays Bank and head down to the bottom end of town towards the south bay beach you will find a lot of Charity Shops on your left and an ex catalogue shop, there is a Cooplands bakers, Boyes and Argos. After you pass Argos you will find the Scarborough indoor market (under the market you will find the market vaults which includes some quirky shops).

As you pass the Scarborough market you will then find all the novelty gift shops selling t-shirts and toys. Towards the bottom end of town just before you reach the south bay beach you will find some joke shops and more gift shops.

Shops at Seamer Road Retail Park in Scarborough

If you haven’t had enough of shopping the time you have finished in Scarborough’ town centre then you can stop off at the Seamer Road Retail Park as you head out of town back home.

The shops located at the Seamer Road Retail Park include Halfords, Next at Home, Brantano footwear, Pets at Home and Dunelm Mill. The Seamer Road Retail Park postcode for your satnav is YO12 4DH.

Close to the retail park there are two other shops located on Seamer Road that you might want to visit. Next to Halfords you will find B&Q and a little further up the road you will find Currys (YO12 4HE).
