The Scarborough Naval Warfare is on the Peasholm Park Lake

The photo above shows a shot of the lake at Peasholm Park where the Scarborough Naval Warfare is held. The Scarborough Naval Warfare is a battle between miniature battleships creating the sights and sounds you would expect of a real battle.

You will see the Scarborough Naval Warfare battleships come out across Peasholm Park Lake in a convoy, and then the battle begins when the enemy battleships attack. You will have airplanes whizzing above your head as the air raid sirens sound as the blasts from the ships guns from the sea attack ring around the park.

Everyone will love the Scarborough Naval Warfare; my five-year-old son had a great time and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the battle. For more information on the vessels used at the Scarborough Naval Warfare head on over to the friends of Peasholm Park website.

Places to park close to the Scarborough Naval Warfare are at the Scarborough council Victoria Park car park (YO12 7TS), and the Northstead Scarborough council car park (YO11 6PF). To park at these car parks it is £1.50 for one hour, and £2 for two hours. If these two car parks are full, then the parking on the Marine Drive (YO11 1PG) is only a short walk from the Scarborough Naval Warfare.
