Peasholm Park is open seven days a week all year round, Peasholm Park is free to enter and is close to Scarborough’ North Bay beach. There are lots of activities at Peasholm Park during the summer months and is lovely to walk round in the winter.
There is lots of parking near Peasholm Park, close to the indoor pool and the miniature railway. Peasholm Park hosts concerts every year like the acoustic gathering and performances from the Spa Orchestra.
Peasholm Park hosts it’s very own miniature naval battle on the lake called the Naval Warfare. Cross the bridge at Peasholm Park for a walk round the Chinese gardens.

Peasholm Park opened in 1912 and has a very popular boating lake where the Naval Warfare is held. Peasholm Park has a cafe overlooking the lake and the bandstand, a small ice cream kiosk and a putting green.

The best places to park that are close to Peasholm Park would be at Northstead car park (YO11 6PF), Victoria Park car park (YO12 7TS) or on the Marine Drive (YO11 1PG). All of these car parks are only a short walk away from Peasholm Park, the Northstead and Victoria Park car parks are the closest.
The photo above shows the bandstand and the boat deck on the lake at Peasholm Park. Just to the left of this shot is the stunning waterfall that falls from the top at the Chinese gardens.
At the forefront of this shot you can see the Peasholm Park putting green with the boat deck on the right. The naval warfare performance runs around the bandstand you can see at the top of the photo.

If you head off further round Peasholm Park away from the Chinese garden and the boat deck you can explore the Glen. The Glen is lovely to walk round following its small stream and waterfalls. As you walk round Peasholm Park you will pass some small ponds, which are often used for sailing model boats.
There are many paths to take around Peasholm Park for a walk round the Glen, this photo shows the small stream that you follow and one of the little waterfalls you can see.
