People have seen dolphins a lot along the coast of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, especially near Marine Drive and North Bay. Since the beginning of the year, seeing bottlenose dolphins close to the shore has become very usual.
A group of about 25 bottlenose dolphins was recently seen moving quickly northwards. This was a fantastic sighting that was recorded on the Scarborough Porpoise Facebook page and wildlife watchers in the area.
Experts in the area say that the best places to see dolphins are at famous watching areas like Marine Drive and North Bay, where you can often see them playing in the water.
